Soooo, we can confirm that we will be releasing our debut EP on 8th June 2009 via the legendary label Geffen, which was set up in the UK late last year!

And it will be titled….

‘Matching Hearts/Similar Parts’ EP

We were in the studio a couple of weeks back with Luke Smith (formally of Clor) - he’s been working in L.A. recently on the new Depeche Mode album.

And our live schedule is growing pretty rapidly! So far we have confirmed the Snowbombing Festival in Austria at the end of the month, the Camden Crawl in April, London Calling in Amsterdam beginning of May, and we’re supporting Hockey on the regional leg of their May tour, completing the tour with The Great Escape in Brighton on the 14th.

Locarno is our next single released on the 9th March on Blue Flowers again. We’ll be releasing it digitally and on limited vinyl..like 500 i think.

Let us know your thoughts - we went into the studio with legendary producer Stephen Street (blur/Kaiser Chiefs/The Smiths etc) who very kindly offered it to us for free..It turned out that we were the last band to ever record at the Olympic Studios - pipped U2 by mere minutes.

We’re very happy with the recording but are still keen to really define our sound and get back in the studio - It’s always hard to transform a demo into a fully fledged recording. We know a few of you might miss the old version - however, we wrote that song when we were 17, nearly two years ago and have moved on so much we felt we had to move the song on…We’re still keen to keep it rough and raw and hopefully that comes across..but we thought it only right to develop the track itself and let it reflect another step forward..

We’ll be releasing an EP in May with 2 new tracks on it, which we hope will really draw a line on our ‘old’ demos, help to define our sound and shift us up a gear towards the future. We have a ton of new tracks which we’re very proud of already - you can a few if you come see us live. If not wait until the next releases.

HI HI! Well it’s ‘09 and we’re still here! BAttling it out in the dog eat dog world that is music, tustling for supremecy. So to start this year’s salvo we give you RO SHAMBO! The B-Side to the forth coming single LOCARNO produced at the end of last year with the veritable dinosaur that is Mr. Stephen Street Esq.! CHECK IT!! This funky little disco number should have boogying in front of your PC monitors (or at least we sincerely hope so.)
