]]>Firstly, thank-you very much to everyone who came out to see us in the past month or so. It’s been an amazing tour full of good people and good times. Shout outs to the dedicated fans that made it to more than one show – you know who you are! Our apologies must go to people in Hull, Nottingham and Birmingham, we are working to get these shows rescheduled as soon as possible.

Don’t like being too London centric. However, we have a very important London show coming up. Actually it’s our biggest headline show in the city, which is great, but you know, we need to make it special. That is where you come in. I’m sure we could rock out onstage on our own, but really without a crowd baying for our souls … then what really would the point of live music be. WE NEED YOU TO BUY TICKETS AND COME WATCH US PLAY. Think i spelt that out clearly enough.

The Lexington on the 23rd March. Support comes from Pushing Hands and Lucy Rose. Plus a very important person DJ set coming from BOMBAY BICYCLE CLUB…Yup…going to be BIG.
But you know, i know with this economic downturn, things aren’t as fruitful as they were a few years ago for most Flashguns fans..so being the nice (poor..) band that we are, we are willing to incentivise this process with a competition.
The first 4 people to name the title of our debut album and email us at flashguns@hotmail.co.uk with the title and a name for yourself and you’re plus 1 gets in for FREE. ]]>Got a fair few new email addresses on here during our tour with Funeral Party. Thanks for signing up, enjoy the ride through our darkest dreams. Introduce yourselves, make new friends. Thanks to all that came out to see us, speak to us, buy from us, shout at us, drink and laugh with us during our tour - we had a great time. Great to go back to certain cities like Norwich, Brighton, Nottingham and Bristol, beginning to feel like home away from home. Also, for all the ramshackle street team crews who showed up on the night, thank you so so much - your work was amazingly generous.
So, moving on, because that’s what we do. 10 days stop gaps and we’re back on the road, back with something new. Work hard, play hard - a moto I hate, but one that aptly describes our current situation. We are back on the road supporting Danananackroyd, which will be fun..i think! We’re slightly scared, as seeing them live is scary let alone touring with them for 7 nights in tiny little venues across our fair land … they have 2 drummers!!? wtf … going to be interesting.

One final, but most important aspect to this mail out is our video to our next single ‘Passions of a Different Kind’. it’s our second only video. We shot it with two old friends, JP and Tom in Exmoor where we recorded the album. It has meaning, lurking somewhere…we’re happy with it. Let us know your thoughts. So Jan/Feb have been very busy for us. We finished shooting the video for our next single and also covered almost all of the U.K touring with Funeral Party. Thank you to everybody that came to the shows and also those who bought some Flashguns merchandise. We have two more dates London, tonight, and Brighton on Saturday, we hope to see some of you there, don’t be afraid to come and say hi. We are back on tour at the end of Feb, details of that our up on our website and myspace.
